Gesher Group acquired a 20,000-square-foot industrial building situated on 49,000 square feet of land in the heart of the LAX Airport submarket. At the time of purchase, the property was vacant and had recently come under the oversight of the State’s Regional Water Quality Control Board due to environmental contamination.
Gesher Group collaborated with regulators to design a feasible and cost-effective remediation plan. Simultaneously, the building was repurposed: one side was transformed into creative office space for a publicly traded consulting firm, while the other was converted into a logistics facility for FedEx, supporting emergency spare parts distribution for its aircraft fleet. Gesher Group is planning to hold this property for the long term.
